Pinrang, 7 April 2025 - The Head of BPS-Statistics of Pinrang Regency, Mr. Joko Siswanto, attended the Simultaneous Rice Harvesting event held in 14 provinces simultaneously. This event is a follow-up to the Letter of the Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, with the activity centred in Majalengka Regency, West Java Province.
The event is planned to be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, and followed online by regional heads throughout Indonesia, including Pinrang Regency. For Pinrang Regency, the rice harvesting activity was held at the Latembaga Farmer Group, Samaturue Village, Tiroang Subdistrict, and started at 09.00 WITA.
Through his participation, Mr Joko Siswanto showed his full support for the national food security program and strengthened the collaboration between BPS and the local government in supporting the agricultural sector as one of the main pillars of the national economy.
This event was also accessed through the Zoom platform as a form of digital synergy to support the smooth implementation of activities in various regions.
