Forum SDI Kabupaten Pinrang : Coordination and Consolidation Meeting

Pinrang, 3/12/2024 at the meeting room of the Regional Secretary of Pinrang Regency, the coordination and consolidation of the Pinrang Regency One Data Indonesia (SDI) forum was held, which was attended by the Regional Secretary of Pinrang Regency (Sekda), the Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) as the SDI forum secretariat, the Communication, Informatics and Standardization Service (Diskominfosandi) as the data administrator, and also the Pinrang Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as the data coach.

The purpose of this activity was to strengthen the roles and functions of each element in the Pinrang District SDI forum. In addition, the activity became a venue for reviewing and evaluating statistical activities over the past year and also discussing action plans that will be implemented in 2025.

In his speech, the Secretary of Pinrang Regency (A. Calo Kerrang) emphasized the importance of managing sectoral statistical data in accordance with statistical principles and applicable regulations because it is the main basis in realizing One Datu Indonesia that is accurate, valid, and accountable.

The Head of Pinrang Regency BPS (Joko Siswanto) also explained the principles and organization of SDI that must be implemented to improve the quality of data in Pinrang Regency. In addition, it was also conveyed that the Pinrang Regency Statistical Development Index (IPS) in 2024 obtained a good predicate, where there were only four districts / cities that obtained this predicate in South Sulawesi Province. Of course, this achievement motivates the SDI forum to continue to collaborate in improving the quality of statistical data in Pinrang Regency.

It is hoped that activities like this can continue to be implemented and developed by involving a wider forum. So that the benefits will be felt by various parties.
